An award-winning producer, Ragani is the founder of Kirtan with Ragani, one of the largest independent and ongoing kirtan scenes in the US. For the past 25 years, she has been leading kirtan (yoga chant) in the US and abroad.
At the age of eight, American-born Ragani met the legendary yoga master, Sri Swami Rama, founder of the Himalayan Institute of Yoga Science and Philosophy, and former Shankaracharya of India. Under his tutelage, she was personally trained in the sciences of yoga, meditation, and eastern music, including kirtan.
Currently based in Milwaukee, and named in OnMilwaukee.com’s “100 Milwaukeeans You Need to Know”, Ragani has been featured on FOX and NBC affiliates and in numerous regional, national, and international publications, and she will be featured in a forthcoming kirtan documentary movie, scheduled for release in 2009. In addition, Ragani is the featured model for the award-winning book, Yoga: Mastering the Basics, and its two accompanying videos. Thank you for the add. I attend every Friday now and I can't tell you in words how Kirtan affects me for days afterwards. Thank you for the great gift.
My beloved friend my gift to you this day is my complete and utter love. I am giving to you all that I have and am, with out attachments or conditions, therefore I truly ask for no-thing in return for you see my loved one not so long ago I would not have done anything as remotely as loving another without the desire or need to be loved back but I have now found myself in this unique position of realization that the state of my very being is love so I have come to this point along this unfathomable journey where I have decided to give everything away. I have concluded if this is what cause me to exist and I know I will exist forever then why shouldn’t I give love away and abundantly too, its not like I can deplete it I am made of it. So I give to you the depth of it all go ahead and immerse yourself within the ocean of my love guilt free because you see my beloved it flows endlessly. In love and light Erica
