About me: Okay, here's a list of fun facts about myself...
-Most of my interests revolve around toys and animation and off-shoots of them. I especially love just about anything 80's related: The toys, the 'toons, the music, the movies, you name it. I'm not completely stuck in the Reagan years, but it's not a total stretch either. My biggest passion in this category is by far TRANSFORMERS. I was into them as a kid, and have been collecting them seriously for the past 14 years now and I never miss the conventions. I've got the entire american G1 collection and a good bead on the foreign toys too. Our house is literally filled top to bottom with our collection of various toylines. You can see pictures of it here...
---------I'm a big classic video-game fan. I love stuff from the "golden age" (Atari 2600, Colecovision, etc.), along with the 8-bit and 16-bit consoles (NES, SNES, Genesis, etc). I'm into some newer games and systems too, but I'm most definitely a retro-gamer to the core.
---------My girlfriend is Scream on my top friends list. We've been dating for nearly 8 years now and have been living together "in sin" for the last 5 of those years. It's very cool to have a significant other who's just as passionate about the things I'm into... and the fact that she's attractive doesn't hurt either. ;)
---------I'm the proud owner of a 1981 DeLorean!
The Devolutionary Oath
1. Be like your ancestors or be different,
it doesn't matter.
2. Lay a million eggs or give birth to one.
3. Wear gaudy colors or avoid display,
it's all the same.
4. The fittest shall survive, yet the unfit may live.
5. We must repeat!
Who I'd like to meet: People with similar interests to me. I love talking about 80's action figure lines and their tie-in cartoons, so I'd love to meet other people who are into them as well. Same goes with any classic video-gamers out there. Otherwise, I'm up for meeting anyone who isn't an overly judgemental jerk. Also, fellow teetotalers are especially welcome.
Wus up!! TF2,Yea there was just a little tomuch cheese in there... And yes the humor was off and it was kinda over drawn well alot for that matter..i guess at this point we should just be happy their making these films i guess. Hollywood, cr8s great stuff and destroys gr8 stuff!! but i mean all in all it's still gr8 stuff i mean it is "TRANSFORMERS" right..lol i guess will just have to see what the great american hero has in store for us!!
Ah, we're on the exact same page I see! All the same complaints I was feeling. And my Devastator doesn't have balls. Not sure about MonsterMania, but I will be at Otakon this month for a day, it's looking like. In August I'm going to go to Gencon for the first time ever.
actually i kind of enjoyed this movie more than the first one. i went in there expecting the absolute worst, i even wanted to just skip this one, but i went with a bunch of people who were really excited to see it and didn't want to seem like a wet blanket lol. devastator did NOTHING, everything he did we saw in the trailer and the rail gun came out of nowhere! i liked the twins though, i thought they were kind of cute, like i said i had low expectations. i loved the scene in the forest, and even though starscream and megatron seemed more powerful in the first movie i was happy to see them get more screen time in this one. oh and i did think prime acted a little too aggressive. i really did not pay much attention to the plot in this one, if i had read the script like i did the first one i probably wouldn't have liked it as much. plus seeing it in imax was cool, there was one scene at the end, when prime was fighting the fallen and megatron, that may have been shot exclusively for imax that looked noticeably clearer than the rest of the fight so i could see what you're getting at with the inconsistent animation i probably just didn't notice it in the other scenes. but overall i liked it lol, and good to hear from you!
I am too afraid to go see Revenge of the Fallen, no joke. It sucks, I was looking foward to the film plus I know a bunch of people who are excited for it and I've heard nothing but REALLY horrible stuff about it!!
forgot to tell you that it was really cool to see you and screamers on this philly ghostbusters screening press video. it was featured on Proton Charging ghostbusters News.
