Rainy Day Saints began life as a real 'solo' project from Dave Swanson (he of many bands including Guided By Voices, Cobra Verde, New Salem Witch Hunters, Dementia 13, The Cynics, Speaker/Cranker, The Reactions, Death Of Samantha, and so on) playing all the instruments, vocals, etc. Get Hip Records released the debut album, "Saturday's Haze" in 2004. The album received great reviews and made number 3 on the Top 10 of the year on Little Steven's Underground Garage show. Dave then put together a band comprised of old friends, all veterens of many Cleveland bands. In other words...they know how to rock! The second CD, "Diamond Star Highway", also received many rave reviews! One song from that disc, 'Waiting For You', was featured in the independent film 'Catching Salinger' while the band's rendition of The Dead Boys classic 'Sonic Reducer, made jaws drop at every turn.
The third RDS release explores new territory and is titled 'Reflected'.
It was released in 2009 to rave reviews!
