When we realize how life’s story has gone, we see it as incomplete. Half a Page Written, Half a Page Read is the story of the ordinary man walking down the dark road of bitterness and despair who has come to the realization that life is incomplete—and divine intervention is required to fulfill his need. The members of Raised Threshold have come together with a single mind to spread the message of hope, love, salvation and completion that is in Jesus Christ. With the coming release of their first album since their formation in early 2007, Raised Threshold desires that their music will tell the story to the world.
The finishing is coming, but the story is only Half a Page Written, Half a Page Read.
Since their inception in February 2007, Raised Threshold has been in the works of writing and recording a full album. After recording and releasing three tracks at Orange Sky Productions with engineers Theo Cedar and Sal Hernandez, the members of the band continued to write and improve their music, as well as rediscover the aim their music was taking. “Well, we went through quite a time trying to get our music together, but finally after a lot of prayer and planning and lineup changes we just decided to set out and do it,” states lead singer Will Ehlert. “Since it took such a long time to finish arranging our songs, we figured ‘Hey, why don’t we just record it ourselves?’” says Kris Ehlert, keys. Self-produced and self-mixed, Half a Page Written, Half a Page Read is planned to be finished by late 2009-early 2010.
