100 Pearl st. Gallery is art gallery located in the lobby of 100 pearl st. in down town Hartford and is what I hope to be a very special place to see and hear some of the best music the Hartford area has to offer in a scaled down intimate environment. I encourage music lovers and those who would like to hear some incredable music in a cool room with art and others that appreciate good sound less of crowd noise. The shows will begin promptly at 8:30 pm, late enough to see after diner and will end around 10:30 or 11, early enough to stop by any of the bars and clubs close by in down town after the show. Maybe come down town, have diner, come to the show, then go out and have a drink after. Make a night of it! .....See you there. Randy

We are proud to announce the upcoming release of Kate Aset’s new book The Universe in a Stolen Purse!
This is a unique story about a young American woman traveling through Ireland in the fall of 2001. Margaret seeks to understand life and truth outside of the obligation and convention of her life. Leaving behind a recent divorce, a career, as well as family and friends, she sets out on a quest for internal freedom. Sixty-four journal entries carry the reader on a journey, interweaving an array of characters, events, and places while traveling through the mind, emotion, and soul. Poetry and prose are interlaced throughout the entries as a gateway to the depths of…who’s inside? The Universe in a Stolen Purse is one of defeat and courage, loneliness, love, emptiness and spirit and confusion and clarity. Sometimes you have to tear the house down to let the light in. The story begins from a perspective of a thief named Seamus.
