About me:
I live in Austin, Texas (and I love it here), I have a wife named Suzanne and a 3-year-old daughter named Katy and I adore them both. I work about 40 hours co-managing Dragon's Lair in Round Rock, a comics and game shop that is part of a 3-store chain in this part of Texas. The rest of my time is spent watching TV and DVDs, playing videogames, reading comics and did I mention watching TV already?

I'm a full-on geek, working in a comics shop and doing the weekly D&D group thing with some friends. I also went above and beyond the geek call of duty for the past 10 years or so, running a comic book review website called The Fourth Rail. I quit reviewing in January of 2006, although I'm still doing comics-related writing for Antigravity, a free monthly in New Orleans. Then, in September of 2006, I returned to reviewing with a new site called Comic Pants. Turns out the reviewing bug bites harder than you'd think.

My Other Sites:
Comic Pants Inside Joke Theatre (My Blog/Homepage) The Fourth Rail

Who I'd like to meet:
Actually, if any of my old friends and acquaintances from Colorado are out there on My Space, I'd sure love to get in touch with them. Shane, Doug, Martin, Rick, Robbie, Kurt, etc... you guys out there? Oh, and Jon Stewart of the Daily Show. Because, y'know, that's likely.

Thanks a lot man. Been reading your reviews for the last 5 years and it's good to know you're getting back to enjoying your comics rather than just reviewing them.

My favorite Randy Lander moment? I have a few.
1) When I saw you and Don looking VERY uncomfortable squeezed into a Holiday Inn shuttle in San Diego.
2) When I was going to get together for dinner with my friend Radiation Kevin, and he said he was bringing his friend Randy. Then I figured out ... "Oh, it's THAT Randy".
3) When I called Brandon Thomas at 7:30 in the morning on a Monday to tell him Randy gave him a really awful review of his issue of Spiderman Unlimited (when, in fact, you gave him a very good review). Well, that's more of a favorite Brandon moment ...
