Prince is a now a 24 year old Arabian Gelding, who was neglected for 4-5 years that no one wanted, and on his way to the auction, where he would be sold for slaughter.

"PRINCE'S STORY" When I picked him up on April 17th, 2007, he was at least 300lbs. underweight, (I was told by the person that I got him from that he was “heavier this year than last year”); fungus, rain rot from ear to tail, thrush and very afraid. He has white marks all over his face from wearing a nylon halter that he wore for years that did not fit him, he bears many scars and other white hair areas from other times of abuse from the past.

Donations from caring friends is a key part of Prince’s rehabilitation training & conditioning program.

We need a nice horse friendly property that will meet our program requirements, but we are willing to start with something modest-so if you have something we can work with, make sure you contact us! We would love to hear from you!

We have had to move from so many different facilities due to various serious issues at each barn--improper feeding & care, literal physical abuse and the lack of feeding and watering my horse that has had my horse seriously ill and put at risk for illness or even death. Stress Kills-Horses are herd animals and need to have horsey friends-we are looking for a new barn to save our horse from dying from stress colic-this is a very extreme situation-

As you can see, we have had a great many challenges in our newly formed organization and your can help!

At the Ransom Ranch Horse Rescue Project, the Horse is the primary passion and focus--with a goal to use horses to change human lives for the better.

We would really like to take in more horses! I could have taken in 7 horses in February-- Please join us in partnership, so that we can meet the many needs of this one horse and can save even more! *saddles: 17 inch seat/Dressage and 16", 15" Western, Arabian, and basically anything a horse needs-we are just starting out!

--COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM--

Too many families are having to go without healthy fresh food and this is putting a burden on our health, which in turn, affects our health care system--

When a family, single parent or senior has to choose between food and other vital bills, we want to help-

Our community outreach program will include a food bank that provides healthy choice FRESH foods not offered at conventional food banks, COOL clothing room offering shoes, underwear and essentials, entrepreneurship self sufficiency program-micro business, car ministry, horsemanship/horse care/riding programs, life skills programs, music industry (RECORDING STUDIO & MORE) with special big name visitors/mentors/supporters as well as an inspirational sports program with big name athletes to mentor from time to time.

Our goal is to meet the needs of the community that are currently not being met or met at a substandard level. Just like the horse, we want to make a difference in people’s lives as well.

There are so many other ideas that I have in development for the community outreach program to come-this is a passion for people and animals-

RIP ALLELUIA PRINCE --born June 30th, 1984-died June 4, 2008

Prince was seriously injured in a collision with a huge Thoroughbred horse in a pasture during turnout after the horses were in the barn all day. He was not to be with the younger horses as he was fragile- He would have had his 24th Birthday on June 30th- The Thoroughbred hit my horse like a Mack Truck, whereas he sustained serious injury to his shoulder which led to euthanasia having to be performed. Prince was a majestic horse-brave and loyal-kind and he trusted me which I can say was truly an honor-ALLELUIA PRINCE translated into Hebrew means, PRAISE GOD- I praise God for him-He is deeply missed and I am devastated by these circumstances- Please pray for me, as I am having a very difficult time with all of this-Thank You--Sheri
