A combination of Lithuanian spirit and international influences, Rasa's music isn't easily categorized. With elements of pop, progressive rock, folk and trip hop, all with a cinematic, sometimes ethereal feel, Rasa Basom is combining the talents of 6 very different people into something very special. Meeting in Liverpool, Rasa, Gunhild, Nils, Snorre and Sindre have been playing together since early 2008. They have released 3 full length albums and countless Eps and singles between the 6 of them, and come from musical backgrounds as diverse as rock, folk, classical, metal, and electronica. Using all organic sounds and no samples or programming, they create soundscapes that have been described as cinematic, moving, and highly melodic.
