RASCAL FLATTS
Since their career launched in 2000, Rascal Flatts has sold over 17 million albums, scored 9 1 singles and 17 top 10 hits and each of their five albums are multi-platinum sellers. They are the reigning AMA, CMT, ACM, PCA and CMA Vocal Group of The Year with two, six, five and six respective consecutive wins. They were honored as the 2008 Academy of Country Music/The Home DepotÆ Humanitarian Award recipients during the recent ACM Awards show in May. This honor, in part, due to their dedication to raising funds for the Monroe Carell Jr. Childrenís Hospital at Vanderbilt, where in the past 4 years they have donated 3 million dollars, as well as their work on the American Red Cross Celebrity Cabinet board.

The day after she took her life i spent the whole day wrighting her a letter and all i could ask her was why? and if there was anything i could have done to help her.....
and hearing the words i wrote down on a peice of paper 3 years ago....still makes me wonder why...

I just wanted to let ya'll know that your music has really touched a lot of people and your song mean so much because they relate to so many real life situation. I lost someone very close to me almost a year ago. My cousin suffered from very severe depression, but nobody knew just how severe it was until on March 4, 2009 my cousin took his own life. Your song "Why" really relates to the questions I asked when I found out the bad news. And in a lot of ways when I hear that song I feel like it was written just for him. I just wanted to let you know that your music has really touched me personally and I really want to thank you guys for recording that song because even though the song is sad it helps me to deal with the fact that things happen that can't be understood sometimes.
