RAW NOISE formed in Ipswich '83 with Dean Jones on vocals, Ali Firouzbakht on guitars, Ade on bass and Olley (Pigkiller) on drums. Early in '84, John Borley temporarily stepped in on guitar to replace Ali who had moved to London. The first release was then made which was a 7 track tape only release 'A HOLOCAUST IN YOUR HOME' recorded on 23/09/84. Following the release they had their first gig with Disorder and Lunatic Fringe at the Ipswich YMCA club. After Ali returned on guitar they had only one more show which was in Sudbury, Suffolk. In Jan 1985 Raw Noise split to form Extreme Noise Terror with Dean and Pigkiller teaming up with Phil Vane and Pete Hurley from other local band Victims of War, using many of the tracks from the 'Holocaust' release to go on E.N.T's first release, 'Earslaughter', a split album with Chaos U.K. In august 1990, Raw Noise reformed with the very original line up except Ade being replaced by Rocky (also of Optimum Wound Profile) on Bass and released the 'SOUND OF DESTRUCTION' e.p. on Raw Noise Records, the cover of which, the 'Klan Target' design was copied and used by Nailbomb on their 'Proud to commit commercial suicide' album and as their live backdrop in 1995. In august '91, they recorded a session for John Peel at the BBC studios giving them their first airplay ever. 3 months later they also recorded a split album with Chaos U.K. entitled 'MAKING A KILLING' on Vinyl Japan Records, recorded with stand in drummer, Vile Nile, as Pigkiller was doing a 2 year prison stretch for drug charges. They then had a one off gig supporting E.N.T. at the Dome in London on his release from prison. 7 years passed with Ali joining E.N.T. and Dean concentrating on touring and recording with E.N.T. In october '99 they teamed up with Gian (then of Cradle of Filth) to make 'THE TERROR CONTINUES' album on Rhythm Vicar Records. A brutal, totally Discharge inspired album. After which, Raw Noise split again to concentrate solely on E.N.T. BUT THAT WAS NOT THE END...... February 2009, they have now decided to reform again with original members Dean Jones on vocals and Ali Firouzbakht on lead guitar along with Barney (Ex-Dead Lane Cross) on drums, Chino (As Ruins Fall) on guitar and Staff (E.N.T.) on bass. They are in the process of recording a new e.p. followed by a full length album for Lowlife/MCR Records for an autumn release. Expect a total full on (Dis)charged, ultra brutal hardcore punk Holocaust!!!!!!!! ..NEW ALBUM, 'SYSTEM NEVER' OUT 15/03/2010!.. .... .. .... ..!!!
