Long form:
the first time I listened to hard electronic music was on the tape
"alles naar de klote" e.p. that was around the end of '92 or beginning
of '93 before that I listened to metal, but hey... I was young I started producing "tracks" on c64, later atari 1040st, but I used the right programs. I was in need of a PC.
In '94 I used to go to a friend after school who had a 486 PC
and the program called SOUNDCLUB.
8bit dos shit but with the possibility to use your own samples
(with a total capacity of 640 kB for all :lol: )
I switched from one friend to another to use their PCs....
for my 15th birthday I finally got my own... :D
Because of the 640 kB problem I changed to Fast Tracker...
but I never was a tracker kid and changed back to sclub for windows, getting rid of the problem.
Then I was so happy for Reason and now Ableton!!!
I just like to make music and not to study programs
so I never used logic or other stuff like that, cubase (only for 2 tracks).
but I love ABLETON! its so innovative.
Together with R. Shock I started to make really very small illegal parties in Leipzig and there I met Caleb.
Together we founded LTS. Leipzig Terror Squad and made just 4 releases
in the time of 2000-2003, I guess.
At this time I used the pseudonym RIOTUDDER, but no-one ever
knew how to pronounce it :) this is why I later changed it to RAW STATE.
Around the same time I founded TOTSCHLAG RECORDS, because
I was visiting the Fuck Parade at 99 or 2k and everythere there was
speedcore and it was cheepest shit I had ever heard.
I thought by myself... "hang on, that's the shit I did when I was 16...
on dos... what the fuck.... and mine was better, I guess."
So I needed a stupid name and 4 stupid tracks which just must be better
then the cheep cheep cheep USN style (sorry for that, its just my opinion).
so DJ TOTSCHLÄGER was born. --but don't ask me who mc PRIMITIVE SHIT

but I dont like speedcore anymore so I don't play this crazy shit very often. Disco Cunt aka R. Shock is more into Speedcore with his label FREITOT.
I also have some other projects like RDR (hardtech/tech) - resident of 10/40, which is a closed techclub but still successful as an agency in the hard east german techno scene.
The project I most prefer and love even though it's without releases, is INTOXICATION.
It's an important project for my soul, I'd say.
