Hi, thanks for stoppin' by.
I've been the new drummer in KORN since October '07. We just finished a massive overseas world tour... check out KORN.com for live and behind the scenes video clips from it.

Before KORN, I was the drummer in ARMY OF ANYONE, which features multi-platinum artists Robert and Dean DeLeo from STONE TEMPLE PILOTS and Richard Patrick from FILTER. Our debut CD, which we co-produced with Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd, Jane's Addiction, Kiss, Alice Cooper), is out now. "Goodbye" and "Father Figure" are the singles, check 'em out at the top of this page... The video for "Goodbye" is on the left side. Click here to visit the official Army Of Anyone site.

I was in the DAVID LEE ROTH Band for 8 years from '97-'05, which was an amazing experience. We toured the globe 5 times and made 2 cool CDs. Diamond Dave is, by far, one of the greatest frontmen that ever lived! I've also had the honor to record, perform and tour with some other great bands and artists in my career, here's some of my favs: Billy Sheehan (DLR, Mr. Big, Steve Vai), The Nixons, Jake E. Lee (Ozzy, Badlands... my first tour in '94 "Wicked Alliance"), Hideous Sun Demons, Doug Pinnick (King's X), John 5 (Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie), James LoMenzo (Black Label Society, Megadeth), Rafael Moreira (Pink, Christina Aguilera), Slash (G 'n R, Velvet Revolver), Seal, Kirk Hammett (Metallica), Zakk Wylde (Ozzy, BLS), Toshi Hiketa (DLR, Hideous Sun Demons), Todd Jensen (Alice Cooper, DLR), The Boston Pops Orchestra, Tracy G (Dio, WWIII), Driven, Zac Maloy, Edgar Winter, Goaded, Freak Power Ticket, Coma, Wicked Alliance, Matt Kramer (Coma, Saigon Kick), Medicine Wheel, The Howling Iguanas, Tony Fredianelli (Third Eye Blind), Toby Knapp (Onward), Arcade (w/ Stephen Pearcy, I toured with them in '95), Ricky Wolking (Edgewater, Nixons), Brian Young (DLR), Michael Lee Firkins, Doug Aldrich, George Lynch, Mandy Lion (WW III, Wicked Alliance), Greg Chaisson (Badlands, Sircle of Silence), Scott Bush (Dolt, Nixons), Keisuke Nishimoto (HSD Japan, Kelly Simonz), Jeff Scott Soto (Yngwie, Soul Sirkus), Sean Dailey, Darren Housholder, 9.0, various Perfect World Entertainment bands such as Metal Shop, Boogie Knights, Anthem, Spazmatics and Atomic Doggs. I do a lot of recording sessions, including stuff for tv and movies and have played over 1700 shows, played on over 40 CDs, bla bla bla... But enough about me, here's some more stuff about me...

I have an instructional DVD out in stores now (Guitar Center, Sam Ash, Pro Drum Shops, etc.) for all you drummers and drummers to be. It has a bunch of lessons including double bass, warm-ups, drum fills and motion exercises in one DVD with a companion booklet. It also features Billy Sheehan and Toshi Hiketa in the performance section. Check out my blog (above) for some reviews of it and my site for details: RAYLUZIER.com and halleonard.com. You can also see clips of it below. Sabian, ddrum, DW, Remo and Pro-Mark are my sponsors for the drum clinics that I do (including NAMM shows, PASIC conventions and "in stores"), which are posted on my site.

I graduated from the Musicians Institute in Hollyweird, CA in '89 and was a teacher there at P.I.T. from '92-'01. Check out mi.edu. I grew up on a farm outside of Pittsburgh, PA in a small town called West Newton and I've been playing drums since I was 5. I also play a bit of guitar and bass just to write, have fun and record in my home studio, which is where I spend most of my time, around touring... I travel a lot and love it!

The tune "Mummy" on this page is from the live performance section of my new DVD, which we tracked in Japan. It's from my side instrumental band, Hideous Sun Demons, which I put together with DLR band members James LoMenzo and Toshi Hiketa. Check out the HSD myspace page for more info and to hear more tunes : myspace.com/HIDEOUSSUNDEMONS. The tune "Taj" is from Billy Sheehan's second solo CD that I played on "Cosmic Troubadour"... go pick that one up! As I said before, "Goodbye" is the first single from my new band ARMY OF ANYONE. Visit ARMYOFANYONE.com for updates and upcoming tour dates.

On the left of this profile are some of my favorite records that I played .. on the cover for more info or to buy them.

So as you can see, I completely breathe, eat, sleep and live music... oh, and my last name's pronounced "Lose-Ear" ;)

See Ray In Action!
