  • General

    Writing, publishing, reading, cooking, relaxing with my husband and our fur babies (see photos), socializing with family and friends when I get a chance to!

  • Music

    My musical tastes are varied... From the Rock-n-Roll/Rhythm and Blues music of the '60s, '70s and '80s to the country music of Willie Nelson and the Big Band era music of Benny Goodman, Frank Sinatra and others. I just love all types of music and used to love dancing to my hearts content!

  • Movies

    Although my taste in movies is also varied, my favorite all-time movie is "Something's Got to Give" with Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton! Then I loved the movie "No Way Out" with Kevin Costner, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" with Johnny Depp, "The Shawshank Redemption" with Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman, "Beverly Hills Cop" and "Doctor Doolittle" with Eddie Murphy, and "Ocean's Thirteen" with Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Matt Damon

  • Television

    My taste in television also varies. I love "House" with Hugh Laurie, all the "CSI" shows, all the "Law & Order" shows, "Women's Murder Club" with Angie Harmon, "Two and a Half Men" with Charlie Sheen, the SciFi Channel, the Discovery Channel, the History Channel and Lifetime Television Channel. I'm also a huge fan of "Friends" and was heartbroken when it went off the air in 2004!

Welcome to my crazy and wonderful world as the founder/publisher and editor of "The Cat's Meow for Writers & Readers," an Internet based literary magazine I created in 2004. I am also a published Author with a second book out titled "Mirrored Images," a compilation of my nonfiction & fiction stories and some poems. Aside from a lifelong passion to write and publish I'm extremely concerned about our planet and those who inhabit our world, hence the reason I also advocate for non-profit organizations that help our environment, our children, women of the world, our pets and wildlife, the mentally ill and the poor.
