Welcome to the fansite of REAKTOR at Myspace! Please bear in mind that this is not the official band site, but all its contents are fully authorized by REAKTOR and mostly supplied from sources close to the band itself.
As a short introduction to those unfamiliar with REAKTOR, their sound can be tentatively described as a transversal line between industrial metal and heavy rock music, with electronic and alternative like incursions.
Close sources inform that the band underwent a profound metamorphosis since last year, and is currently working towards their sophomore album.

Late 2001:
REAKTOR is founded by Nexion K., under the name RE:AKTOR, as an experimental project designed with two keywords in mind - exploit and experiment.
Mar Dec 2002:
Nexion K. travels to Norway where he works together with drummer Cato Bekkevold and guitarist D.Void, who traveled to Oslo later on.
During the process vocalist R.A.D. joins RE:AKTOR and work intensifies towards the assembly of 'Zero Order'. Pre-production CDs are shopped to selected labels, leading to a worldwide deal with Nuclear Blast Records.
Jan Mar 2003:
The production of 'Zero Order', settled by Nexion K. is finally complete, and together with George Marino (METALLICA, COLDPLAY, OZZY OSBOURNE, LED ZEPPELIN...) the mastering takes place at the universally renowned Sterling Sound Studios in New York.
Sep Dec 2003:
RE:AKTORs debut album 'Zero Order' is released on the 29th of September by Nuclear Blast Records. Meanwhile Sérgio Animal joins as bass player and second vocalist, while Daniel C. replaces Cato Bekkevold who had joined the ranks of ENSLAVED.
Jun Aug 2004:
European Tour as support for San Francisco's metal legends EXODUS. Touring period finished with landmark show on their first homeland appearance at the Ilha do Ermal Festival, together with GUANO APES, TIAMAT and THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN.
Sep 2004:
R.A.D. leaves RE:AKTOR, and is followed by Sérgio Animal. All scheduled band activities are inevitably canceled, and Nexion K. decides to take some time out for a much needed soul searching.experience.
Feb 2005 - May 2006:
The band reforms with Nexion K., D.Void and Sérgio Animal, who rejoined RE:AKTOR, now as main vocalist. Cyph, a longtime friend of Nexion, was drafted as to play with the band, who quickly got their act together for three critically acclaimed Festival appearances! Then, after a short hiatus, REAKTOR decide to drop the ':' in a symbolic move that places aside all past divisions inside the band. The collective has matured a lot and is more focused than ever. Currently, the writing of material for their upcoming releases is under way, and promises to take the band to a new place both musically and spiritually. See you there!

Bom, esta banda nunca mais dá novidades... :| "Into The Future" era a cover ideal para REAKTOR! Agora que estão com o Sérgio era mesmo perfeito! Ele ainda se deve lembrar, hehe! É uma música que tem tudo a ver com REAKTOR, desde a letra aos ritmos passando pelo ambiente futurista! E era um grande tributo a essa lendária banda de seu nome The Coven!

- New single coming out! Earth and Aita are finishing the recordings and it will be released NEXT MONTH!
- First Seduced by Suicide concert! Yes, it will finally happen. In Brazil there will be a festival which will select a band to play in WACKEN OPEN AIR's Metal Battle, and Seduced by Suicide accepted the invitation to play. Date of the show and also the guest members will be announced soon!

Some news: Seduced by Suicide is going to make the first concert in a few weeks. Earth will play with guest musicians, one of them is Geraldo Aita, guitarist of Burning in Hell, who is already working with Earth in the recordings of the new single.
