History:
After the breakup of Crush 22, Estelle and Joshua wanted to continue to play music together. Joshua asked two of his friends, Dan and Steve and the Brittle Stars were born. We were a band from March 20, 1998 to July 20, 2001. We toured a few times, put out an album and an EP before everyone graduated from college and moved away. Both our album and EP are out of print but they're available in download form from both iTunes and snocap.
Now:
The members are still alive and involved in various musical endeavors. Dan stays busy with Tonevendor, Clairecords and Ayler. Estelle is now in Elephant Parade. Joshua has played in a few bands since the Brittle Stars ended but presently he's in Nervous Systems. Steve is supposedly working on that French Horns album that he promised to complete eons ago.
Last Year:
The album has been released on vinyl (limited to 300 copies) and is availabe at Tonevendor. Clairecords is also repressing the album and the EP together as "Complete Recordings."

I just wanted to tell you, that you've helped me get through some horrible times. "Four Words" and "This Trip" especially. I love everything you've ever done, but those two in particular allowed me to cry when I needed to but didn't want to.
