Reckon SO has been on NYC's music scene since their official debut in March 2005, but Mary Olive Smith and Danny Weiss have been making music together for years. The two have long roots in bands like Tony Trischka & SKYLINE, The SMOKIES, SILK CITY, NY's ALPHABET CITY OPRY, The GOODTIMERS and others.
Danny & M.O.'s natural connection on stage, great tunes, beautiful vocals and a mix of rockin' Honky Tonk, Roots Country, Western Swing and Bluegrass always make for an infectious good time.
Reckon SO has attracted some of NY's best players including Jon Graboff (Ryan Adams), Larry Campbell (Bob Dylan), Bruce Martin (Tom Tom Club), Mark Spenser (Blood Oranges), Andy Cotton (Mark Seliger), Kenny Kosek (Jerry Garcia Band), Barry Mitterhoff (Hot Tuna) and can be everything from an acoustic trio to a smokin' electric six piece band.

Mmm mmm... You guys sound great! I just love hearing awesome country music in New York. I'm definitely going to be at the Parkside on March 31st. (Are the y'all stars playing that night, too?)
Members of the Sweetbacks are playing this Saturday (Mar 17) at Googie's Lounge with a bunch of other great bands. And the whole gang is playing at the Baggot Inn on March 27th. Maybe we'll see you...
