Recognizer is a 5 piece original Metal project based in the Northern New England area. Recognizer formed in 1999 and played actively throughout the New England area for 2+ years, releasing an album Ditchpig in 2000. After a 3 year hiatus the project has reformed with a much stronger, heavier and more focused direction. The songs featured on myspace and our official site are from a recorded practice (the Tommy 2 Mic sessions) and from unreleased material (wasn't even mixed or mastered) from an unamed album we were working on when we disbanded in 2002. Woah, Recognizer, I just remembered you guys. Lets see, a couple years back you guys played at a little local band show. It was up in Maine, at the opening of a big extreme sports store, and it was probably 500 degrees out. I remember you guys were there, and you were good, but most of the other bands sucked. You gave me and my friends all a copy of ditchpig, which i still have lying around somewhere. its weird that I just remembered you, but im glad i did, you guys are doing some pretty good stuff
