Sounds Like
We’ve been described as Coldplay meets the Beatles whilst having a cup of tea and chicken with Snow Patrol and South. Simons voice fits somewhere between Neil Diamond, Bono and Chris Martin.

"The four piece southern band produce raw indie/pop melodies stripped down to the core that will grab your heart and soul. From acoustic jangly songs to up beat anthemic epics, these boys offer a diverse repertoire of songs that will grace any stage or cd collection.
The final line up was secured in March 2007 and since then have played most relevant venues in the South. Have played The Carling Academy's up and down the country as well as a triumphent gig at the Shepherds Bush Empire.
Recreation are quite simply 'Recreation' Indie pop with a rocky edge with vocal similarities with Bono, Neil Diamond & Chris Martin. Big melodic songs with killer guitars.

We're people in the industry/scene who understand what musicians and fans want. We're creating a place where music in the most important thing. Remember when Myspace was a cool place for band to be discovered? Now in 2009 it's basically nothing but bands adding bands! Not to mention tons of fans have moved on to facebook because of all the band spam! Yeah that's right, sorry to tell you kids, but the industry knows your numbers are the result of "friend blasters" and spending day and night doing random add's. No one is impressed! So, what will be the site that Facebook defectors and music fans search when they want to hear some music?
