It all started in 2007 when Frans-jan (Gituarist from Rectal Smegma) and (Ron) Dukker wanted to throw a birthdayparty. The location was going to be next to the Rectal Zwembad (the rehearsalroom of Rectal Smegma).
The guys wanted it to be a great gore/grind/core party with a blasting line-up so they went looking for bands.
Bands like Squash Bowels, Stoma, Rompeprop, Anal Penetration, PMS and ofcourse Rectal Smegma played. There were also some speedcore dj's performing between the bands.
Because of the great succes, Dukker, Frans-jan and the rest of Rectal Smegma and some friends organised it again on the 5th of july 2008.
This fest was also a blast, with bands like: Pigsty, Stoma, Tourette Syndrom, Jesus Cröst and many others.
Everyone is now planning Zwembadfest III on the 11th of july 2009. We hope that this fest will be even better than last years fest! The line-up: Inhumate (FR)
