Red Glory formed in 2004 with Sue & Steff in the original line up of a 4 piece band writing/performing their own songs. There were many changes over the next two years, including a change of drummer and the addition of keyboards which, in turn, were replaced with a second guitar in 2005. This gave the material a more rock/indie feel... although it still sounded pretty darn funky.
The band had a measure of success but the urge to play live on a more regular basis took a grip, so, in 2006 a decision was taken to perform covers in between gigs of original songs. Popularity proved to be the incentive to move away from the original material and Red Glory has evolved into a highly rated covers band.
2008-2009 brought about a change in line up on drums and bass.
Dan, previously with The Covers, slotted in well as our new drummer but there was some collateral damage before a bass guitarist who fitted in with our approach was established. We took on and parted with two bassists in a short period of time, before finally finding the right person for the position. So, having joined in June’09, Luke is the newest band member.

About the members:
Steff : Has a unique voice with the power and versatility to cover either gender and any genre or style. Her stage presence gets the crowd going and she thrives on interacting with the audience. Dress sense is second to none with a huge wardrobe similar to the one found in Narnia. She also has a passion for dance music and is known in the world of DJ'ing too.
Sue : Plays the occasional bit of lead but is predominantly the rhythm guitarist with a string rake speed faster than the wings of a hummingbird. She can turn her her to bass and keys as well! A real perfectionist down to the smallest detail and the driving force behind the band.
Luke : A talented young bassist with the ability to conquer tricky bass lines quickly and accurately. His understanding of the concept of dynamics and balance has enabled Red Glory to step up to another level.
Watch out for the galloping triplets….he makes it look so damn easy!
Pete : Lead guitarist who wows the crowd with his solos and adds another dimension to the rhythm section. Although in the twilight of his years, he looks young enough to own a paper round (downhill obviously). With a memory worse than a goldfish, he has to refer to numerous instructions lovingly handwritten on his set list.
Dan : A proficient drummer with heaps of experience who also provides backing vocals. His talents don't end there; Dan can play a bit of guitar & bass too! He comes alive behind one of his 3 kits and is able to play any style.
