jangly early solo Ian Brown style rock comes in closely just on the right side of bombastic rock

Some sections of this track have a significant intensity, which catch the attention somewhat and doesnt let go......MARCUS BOWMAN-----.........................
honey dripped riffs, phased vocals a kind of meeting between Top’s ’number one dominator’ pared with an edgily uber cool Charlatans - all this lavishly decoded and bathed in Beatles-esque inflections sourced directly from ’I am the walrus’ - a radiant feel good babe and an anthem if ever there was one for this hinted Indian summer we should be getting shortly. Flip over for ’end to begin’ another cherry picked nugget from the top drawer of 60’s vibed pop - sumptuous to a tee as it basks in in acid drenched montages of ’67 era UFO styled psyche replete with a corking wig flipping bliss out grooves - in a word ESSENTIAL !
...MARK BARTON-----.............................
Gary Ross from Aberdeen is a purveyor of songs who then connected with personnel in Leeds and here in Manchester, along the way recruiting erstwhile Embrace drummer Mike Heaton. “Running Out” has a big ambitious rock feel to it.
...SIMON BROWNE-----.............................
'Running Out' and its 'B' side, 'End To Begin' on the pop side of light rock; both songs are catchy little buggers and benefit from being well structured and nicely thought out. Full of annoyingly infectious riffs and fills both tracks are actually well worthy of taking the leading role here. The vocal intonation and delivery of Redneck Renegade bring to mind 60's artists R Dean Taylor and Thunderclap Newman and I can even hear some Beatles and latter day Pink Floyd (or at least Roger Waters) in there too although the songs are very much more 'now' in content and style. EARLY DEMO
Rock n roll has a tendency to ignore boundaries. In the case of Redneck Renegade, the boundaries ignored are geographical.
Without ever having met, three musicians from three different cities recorded these songs. By throwing mp3 ideas from Aberdeen to Manchester to Leeds and back again, they created what you are hearing now.
Redneck Renegade have truly united their kingdom through music, now they are in your world and up your street. Enjoy.
