Red Octopus Theater — named after a coffee table that resembled the sea creature — has produced original sketch comedy, classical dramas and premier musicals since 1991. This makes ROT among the oldest sketch troupes on the nation. It has been a long haul but ninety-something shows and over a hundred actors later, Red Octopus is presently smiting the foe, defeating the odds and hurling new comedy right at patrons right in the middle of its sixteenth season of mockery and malcontent. Lucky you. Get a copy of the ROT recording, Assswell? 1997-2007 with tracks playing right now!

“These shows are incredibly funny and surprisingly touching at times. I’m very proud of the whole cast. It’s the largest cast we’ve ever had. You will see many familiar faces and quite a few new-comers. They have all worked very hard on, quite possibly, the greatest shows this town has ever seen. ” –Chris Powers
