The Sound you have been waiting for... In the heart of the blueberry capital of the world, the awesome power of sound known as Relay exists. Carrying with them each the power of ability, originality, and of course the honor of being able to enjoy music in all it's glory. The two members of Relay, consisting of, Mark Penza (guitar/vocals/drums), and Mark Catalfamo (bass/drums/vocals), have spent nearly all their lives together as if brothers. Sharing the same schools, same churches, and their great affinity with rock and roll music.
Mark Penza, the older brother of Relay, plays his guitar with the ease and ability like an uninhabited painter, enjoying the art first and formost for himself and not intrigued by trying to impress others. Mark breathes in heavily from the alternative rock form, with it's thrashing powerchords and unique stab at the rock and roll formula.
The younger brother of Relay, Mark Catalfamo, plays the bass guitar as if it was a magical weapon, honed by a powerful knight. Choosing the sound that has been reinforced for over forty years, Mark draws an endless admiration from both classic rock bands and timeless soul and R'nB artists.
Since the departure of the bands' original drummer, Mark Catalfamo, Relay's bass player has been picking up the slack when the boys play a live show. Stepping in on bass is Rich Penza, Mark Penza's older brother. A very intuitive bass player, "ADHDTV" could very easily stand up to most bass players, schooling them on the ways of the funk, slap bass style.
Separately the members of Relay are very capable and attentive to their music styles, but when together, the brothers of Relay are a force in this day and age matched by no one. The path has already been chosen for the members of Relay, all that stands now is history.
