Reluctancy is a Death Metal project formed 2005 in Stockholm, Sweden. From the beginning it was meant to be a full-time bands with gigs, rehearsals etc. With time it became more and more clear that it was merely a dream. Member and rehearsal problems led to Reluctancy's demise as a full band.
In november 2006 it become the one-man musical outlet for growler and guitarist Stefan Nordström. Songs are written and recorded now and then, and a demo will surface in the future whenever the material and its production is good enough for print. Currently, two old recordings of the tunes "The Malice of A Mind Insane" and "Retaliatory Campaign" are up for listening. These are for now recorded with digital drums and are missing bass.
The future and timelines are uncertain, but the goal is to record a demo in the fall of 2007. "Malice.." and "Retaliatory Campaign" will be featured, as well as five or six new songs including "Contradictive Course", "Amongst The Formless", "Vile Nature" and "Repulsive Ways".
The new material sounds quite different from the old songs due to musical growth. Reluctancy is growing from run of the mill Death Metal towards a more modernized and multi-faceted sound.
