Remembrance is a Funeral Doom/Death band founded by Carline Van Roos and Matthieu Sachs in June 2004.
In March 2005, a 4-track CD entitled Among Lost Illusions is released and self produced as a promo format.
One month later, Remembrance signs with TotalRust Music.
In July 2005, The band finishes the recording and mix of Remembrance's first album: "Frail visions"
"Frail visions" is released in September 2005, through TotalRust Music.
During summer 2007, the band records its second album, entitled "Silencing The moments", which was mixed and mastered at Walnut Groove Studios in August 2007
In October 2007, Remembrance signs with Firebox records which releases the second album of the band, "Silencing The Moments", in April 2008
In 2009, the band adds a new member to the line up : Norman Müller joins Remembrance as drummer.
