Remembrances was founded in october 2003 by Antonio López (guitar) and Haydée Mariñoso (singer), they wanted to play in a gothic metal band with influences like Lacuna Coil, The gathering, Theatre of Tragedy… After a lot of changes and musicians which were in the band, Remembrances started to play live in October 2005 and recordered their debut album, 'Crystal Tears', between march and July 2006 in Tatxin Studios with:
Antonio: guitar
Quini: drums
Joaquín: bass
Arturo: keyboard and pianos
Haydée: vocals
2008 was a great year for Remembrances: the band was selected to play in the international festival Villa de Bilbao, was finalist in the national song contest Belladurmiente, and won the third prize in the national competition Stage Mediatic. Thanks to this, Remembrances played in the important Mediatic Festival 2008 with bands like: The Waterboys, Fangoria, Los Suaves, In Extremo, Loquillo, Medina Azahara, Saratoga, Avalanch...
In October 2008 Joaquín left the band and he was replaced by Perea, an experimented bass and singer. Since then, Perea gives the band new and nice sounds and male vocals.
In February 2009 Remembrances participated in the Spanish Preselection Eurovision with ‘Espejismo’, the only song in spanish played by Remembrances.
The band received the votes of thousands Internet users and was selected to play in the semifinal phase on national TV.
Never before a gothic metal band had participated in Spanish Preselection Eurovision and a lot of people can meet Remembrances.
Remembrances nació en octubre de 2003 de la mano de Antonio López (guitarra) y Haydée Mariñoso (voz) con la idea de crear un grupo de gothic metal al estilo de bandas como Lacuna Coil, The gathering, Theatre of tragedy... etc
Tras cambios, pruebas y un largo historial de músicos que no acababan de encajar en el grupo, Remembrances empezó a dar conciertos en octubre de 2005 y grabó su primer disco, 'Crystal Tears', en los meses de marzo a julio de 2006 en Estudios Tatxin con:

En octubre de 2007 Remembrances escribió un nuevo capítulo de su historia al ganar el tercer premio Stage Mediatic, lo que le permitió tocar en el prestigioso Mediatic Festival 2008. Allí compartió escenario con bandas como The Waterboys, Fangoria, Los Suaves, Loquillo, Saratoga... ese mismo año fue uno de los pocos seleccionados para participar en el internacional Villa de Bilbao.
A finales de 2008 Joaquín, bajista de la banda, dejó el grupo y entró Perea, que también aportaría voces masculinas.
En 2009 Remembrances fue seleccionado como semifinalista para representar a España en el Festival de Eurovisión con su canción 'Espejismo', recibió los votos de más de 31.000 internautas y participó en las galas televisadas de Televisión Española.
En la actualidad, Remembrances se encuentra inmerso en la composición de su segundo disco, donde la voz de Perea acompañará a la de Haydée en algunos temas.
