About me:

RenéSoler , La Habana Cuba. Cuban Songwriter Music Producer. lead guitar and bass player. Rene’Soler is well know in Cuba where, between 1970 to 1990 he played with the best local orchestras and bands such as; Reve' orch,Raul Gomez band,Hector Tellez band, Farah Maria band,Bastion band,Los Wha,Los Signos,Los Yakos,Orchesta cabaret Riviera,Los Gallantes,and others. He has been a resident of Rome since 1991 Rene’Soler founded, together with Cuban and latinoamerican musicians and dancers,also resident in Italy, some new bands such as: Aguere’ la Banda in 1992 till 1996; Onda latina & Swing Latino in 1996; Son de la loma in 1996/98; Son de Cuba 1998/99 and finally in the year 2000 Rene’Soler & his SondeCuba He has played in several festivals of Latin jazz and Latinoamerican music everywhere in Italy and abroad, among them: Latinoamericando, EUR Festival, Jazz by The Sea in Fano, Grazz jazz in Austria, Rotterdam jazz festival; Umbria Jazz and others. Band support for: Sting, 1 of May San Giovanni Square Rome 1995;Santana Palatomatica Roma 1999,Oscar de Leon in Roma festival latino 2002,Giorge Benson, Turin Jazz festival summer 2008; , Le Bistroquet, Monaco; Gran Prix of Formula 1 Montecarlo 1999; Oscar de leon in Fiesta Festival Rome 2005; Charanga Havanera Roma Fiesta Festival 2004. His best project and biggest success, so far, has been Rene’Soler & his SondeCuba. With it Rene’ recreates the latin sound and dancing rhythm of the Son Cubano, going from latin jazz to the exquisite melodies of Boleros and Bachatas, never forgetting the typical rhythms of the AfroCuban and Caraibic tradition.
