A Banda iniciou em janeiro de 2004, com a iniciativa de Giovanni e Felipe. Mantendo a linha hardcore e sempre com letras contestatórias, o Resistência quer dar continuidade ao som rápido dos anos 80 que revolucionou a música mundial.
No começo da banda sofremos várias mudanças na formação, após ficar parada por um ano, no ano de 2007 voltamos e estamos na ativa fazendo músicas novas para nosso CD oficial, seguindo uma linha mais crossover. Com vocal mais agressivo e guitarra mais pesada, continuaremos fazendo o melhor para os ouvidos de todos.
O Resistência conta com o Giovani nos vocais, Felipe na Guitarra e Back, Anselmo no Baixo e Felippe na Bateria. Gravamos nosso primeiro CD DEMO chamado "Nunca é tarde", com músicas mais hardcore "cru" com a formação antiga, nossa segunda DEMO "auto-intitulada" já com a formação atual que saiu em novembro de 2007.
Participamos em dois anos consecutivos do Festival Jampa Livre em 2004 e 2005, Galpão em Fúria em 2007 entre outros.
Temos atualmente como influencias o RDP, Desertor, Hatebreed, Bloodlined Calligraphy, Negative Control, Confronto, Slayer, Pantera e entre outras.

A banda encerrou seus trabalhos em maio de 2008. Agora Felipe e Pão estão tocando com a Letal (www.myspace.com/letalcrossover) conheçam e adicionem.

The Band initiated in January of 2004, with the initiative of Giovanni and Felipe. Maintaining the line hardcore, the Resistencia with his letter politicized and with protests against the system disorganized in which is found, is total hard for open the eyes of those that lost its hopes of improvements. In the beginning of the band we suffer several changes in his formation. After stayed stopped by a year, in the year of 2007 we come back and we are in the active one now most aggressive, with Felippe (Pão, Ex-Drummer of the Okhaso), following a line more crossover. With vocal more aggressive and heavier guitar, we will continue doing the best one for the ears of everybody.
We have at present as you influence the RDP, Desertor, Hatebreed, Bloodlined Calligraphy, Negative Control, Confronto, Slayer, Pantera and between other.
