Parlar del reggae fet al Penedès es parlar de Respectmark, fundador de Different Way i dels Penedès Reggae All-Stars, i cantant de la banda James Band & The Radical Ska Vespa que arriba amb un projecte totalment renovat i desconegut amb un denominador comú: el reggae incoherent.
Vinyes, platges, vi, mediterrani, sobretaules... projecten un context diferent i una manera de pensar diferent al de la illa fundadora del reggae; Jamaica.
Aquest 2008 arriba amb un nou treball sota el braç l’ INCOHERENT STYLE, un treball de reggae molt fresc i molt aconseguit produït per Arturo “Art2” Torres. Al disc s’hi troben col•laboracions de grups com Potato o Baetúria o de artistes com Gerard Clua o del polifacètic i controvertit Jordi Benito.
Un show que no deixa a ningú indiferent a on la provocació i els ritmes sincopats fan ballar a tothom amb temes propis i versions impossibles en clau de reggae amb una posta en escena espectacular.
Es un punt de connexió de varies disciplines artístiques (música - cabaret -creació visual...) per reivindicar nous prismes per observar la realitat quotidiana. L’espectacle s’ha pogut veure en llocs com: Madrid (La Escalera de Jacob), Barcelona (Sala KGB), Tarragona (El Cau), Formentera, Festival Cambrirock, Capçanes...

Viñedos, playas, vino, mediterráneo, sobremesas... proyectan un contexto y una forma de pensar diferente que en la isla fundadora del reggae; Jamaica.
Este 2008 llega con un nuevo y revelador trabajo el INCOHERENT STYLE, un trabajo de reggae muy fresco y trabajado producido por Arturo “Art2”. En el disco hay colaboraciones de grupos como Potato o Baetúria o de artistas como Gerard Clua y Jordi Benito.
Un show que no deja a nadie indiferente donde la provocación i los ritmos sincopados hacen bailar a todo el mundo con temas propios y con versiones imposibles en clave de reggae.

IVAN JULIAN (NYC) & Capsula + THE WHITE RADARS Viernes 3 de Julio Sala Tropicana Club (Santoña) 22:00h Iván Julián, guitarrista fundador junto a Richard Hell de la clásica banda de New York de finales de los 70, The Voidoids. Posteriormente formó la banda The Outsets durante los años 80. También hizo importantes colaboaciones junto a The Clash (Sandinista), XTC o Matthew Sweet entre otros. El día 3 nos visita en la Sala Tropicana Club de Santoña con Cápsula como banda, con la cual ha grabado el álbum "The Naked Flame" el cuál presentarán en directo junto a la banda local The White Radars. Obligatorio si quieres aprobar!!!
