Ressurrector

About me:

I first began my journey into music in the early 90's experimenting with guitar and keyboards using simple rackmount tape decks to record. Later a 4 track was gotten and also more rack mount gear. By 1996 I had began using a PC and around the same time "practical" pc recording was born. Somewhere between 96-98 I began messing with recording for my at the time group "Synthetic Flesh". Once it was learned I possessed both the means and the knowledge to make home recordings I was bombarded by request to make recordings..........Soon Studio Animosity was born. Though it wouldn't officially don that name for many years to come. Sinthetic Flesh created an account on MP3.com in the industrial metal section. During that time I "explored" the underground horrorcore genre on MP3.com and first heard Dosia Demon. Well during the years I moved many places but I took the ability to record with me everywhere I went. Even doing things I prolly shouldnt have such as building a 4x4x8 vocal booth in an apartment I rented in 01 lmao. Just a year before I done a cd with my friend Tod making an industrial noise group titled "He Would Drown". The CD was professionally pressed ( glass ) and released by N.C.C. records in Fla. By 2004 I had moved into a rural house and built the biggest studio I ever had. It was there where the name "studio animosity" was born after overhearing someone in the booth jokingly tell someone on a cell "hey were in "studio animosity" where for a few years I just called it "studio-a" such as the generic term in the recording and media field. By 2005 I moved from where I was and lost the studio I had and with it most people I fooled with save maybe "Tryme". By this time I was kinda getting tired of seeing so many people just being a "fly by night" with music and just half assing their dreams to be honest. So I took matters in my own hands and decided to officially try the artist thing. ( hey maybe thats why I dont act like these other artists do) Up to that time I had done several songs of my own but never took it too serious honestly... So by the fall of 05 I released Ressurrector - Powers That Be.........The CD was pretty much nonstop darkness from start to finish. And um.....the CD featured growling and screaming on about every song. Not to mention the darkest CD I ever heard IMHO........ Something that I PERSONALLY never heard in this scene when I appeared and believe me I looked hard for it too.... In 06 lets just say I had some pretty "life changing" events that would forever alter how I look at some of this stuff. While part of me wanted to just try and be the same guy I was that simply wasnt gonna happen. By late 2007 I more or less stopped doing Studio A because I was just sick and tired of all of the bullshit.........people stealing your shit......people getting funny with funds........keeping constant archives ( good people do that ) and just various other shit. In 2007 I released the CD "Fear - A Tribute To Horror And Scifi" Which featured many horrorcore artist including some older songs I had done. This year at the end kinda inspired a great awakening in me that made me really evaluate my life and choices I was making... In 2008 in march I returned to making songs with "full circle". Some thought at the time I would prolly never make another song again. It was great to prove em all wrong. Not long after full circle was followed by "we all are stars" and several other sporadicly released songs in 08. By 2009 I had began work on "horrormusick" which was meant to be a site for artist to display their music to the world much like the way mp3.com did 10 years ago before it was bought out and rendered "shitty" lol. It was never about money is was about MUSIC........Think mp3.com but for this horrorcore scene. At first HM seemed to have a decent start but after a few months it died out sadly and after a few "ressurrections" as horrormusicradio I finally just decided to let it go. The turnouts for the radio show were suffering and I actually decided to try and work on a new album cause I got alot to say really that deserves to be heard. So by the summer 2009 I decided to begin work on this CD. During this time I was contacted by Dosia Demon and asked to help him produce a cd. I was very excited for the opportunity so I put my album on hold and made a great album titled "Demon Resurrection" for him that should be out very soon. Now that that is done I am back on the grind and have been a few weeks. I honestly dont know what the future holds for Ressurrector or Studio Animosity. As I sit right now I have recorded and produced hundreds of songs and prolly several thousand beats.
