ENG - How many possibilities are there, in a small, small town in the South-East of Italy,
for six different minds and stories to match together and decide to give birth to something
really important?
Add the ambition to create something relatively original, in this case to forge a new sound
based on 70's progressive rock classics and heavily influenced by electronics masters. More,
add a desolate, dull local musical scene, mainly oriented towards reggae/ska
divertissement and cover bands.
You see, the possibilities we were talking about tend further to zero.
This one is the story of a project.
The story of six friends who gather around a table, have a coffee, get to know each other
and decide to start a common path that, they know, is gonna be very, very long.
Synthesizing their experiences. Reducing to essentials. Planning. De-composing.
De-structuring. Re-composing. Everything looking for a new sound with 70's roots but
structurally new, filled with samples and electronic loops to depict the new sonic
landscapes of this millennium's beginning.
Atmospheres, now heavy and now rarefied, to ambient a story, a little drama, a sequence of
emotions however belonging to our time, looking for still unexplored paths between rock and electronics,
eternally divided between odd time signatures and necessity of the compositive unity,
between computer loops and whirling weavings. Always in search for a different way.

ITA - Quante possibilità ci sono, in una piccola, piccola cittadina del sud-est d'Italia,
per sei diverse menti e sei diverse storie di incontrarsi e dare vita a qualcosa di
importante?
Aggiungi l'ambizione di creare qualcosa di originale, in questo caso forgiare un nuovo sound
basato sui classici del progressive rock anni '70 e pesantemente influenzato dai maestri
dell'elettronica. Ancora, aggiungi una scena musicale locale desolata, scialba, orientata
principalmente verso il divertissement reggae/ska e le cover bands.
Come si può vedere, le possibilità di cui sopra tendono ulteriormente a zero.
Questa è la storia di un progetto.
La storia di sei amici che si riuniscono intorno a un tavolo, davanti a un caffé, si
conoscono e decidono di intraprendere un percorso che sanno già essere lunghissimo
Sintetizzare le loro singole esperienze. Schematizzare. Pianificare. Scomporre.
Destrutturare. Ricomporre. Il tutto alla ricerca di un nuovo sound con radici negli anni '70
ma compositivamente inedito, con l'inserimento di campioni e suoni elettronici per
descrivere i nuovi paesaggi sonori di questo inizio millennio.
Atmosfere ora pesanti, ora rarefatte in cui si svolge una storia, un piccolo dramma, una
sequenza di emozioni comunque figlie del nostro tempo, alla ricerca di percorsi ancora inesplorati ai confini
tra rock ed elettronica, eternamente divisi tra tempi dispari e necessità dell'unità
compositiva, tra loop di pc e intrecci vorticosi. Cercando un'altra via.
