About Retropop

Retropop was founded in 2005 as counterbalance to heavy rock and depression phenomena in Finland.

We want to make music which can be danced to - we want to make people in a happy mood. Therefore melodies and the rhythm are important elements in our music.

The Retropop sound is comprised of bumbling bass, synthesizer sounds of the eighties, beautiful melodies, deep beats and of course: Saila's bright voice.
