revent is an American rock band that was formed in Los Angeles, California in 2003. The band’s sound incorporates elements of alternative, grunge, indie and progressive rock.
revent’s self-titled independent release (2008) features the explosive opus “Stare at the Sun” together with eight other original tracks. The band is now playing shows all over Southern California and has performed in front of standing room only crowds at Whisky a Go Go, The Viper Room and The Roxy.
revent is Kevin Cliver (Bass Guitar), Ian Madden (Vocals, Guitar, Piano) and Josh Rosenblatt (Drums, Percussion).

Countdown Begins. Time for our Saturdays to liven up, BlkRadio LIVE Returns: Saturday September 19th 2009 @ 6pm PDT listen.BlkRadio.net I get several bands approach me asking to give their songs a listen and to reply back on what I think about their music. I'm not one to step on someone else's art so I tend to keep the critique out of it for the general requests. However I do know that some of the bands out there are serious about wanting some honest feedback. For those bands BlkRadio LIVE is for you. If you would like your music played on BlkRadio LIVE, drop me a comment on my myspace page with the words "BlkRadio LIVE" in the text. We will announce your name and myspace page so the listeners can go and check you out themselves. (One request per band) We will play the first song posted on your MySpace band page and give our honest review, allowing the listeners in our Meebo Room to vote for the bands they like and to give their feedback. Get your street team involved if you wish and have your band represented. The goal here is to provide the artists that want, true feedback, not to cut down or dismantle any band or their art. I respect all the artists that approach BlkRadio for airplay. I know what I like and don't like, which is different then someone else. This is why I would like to bring the band submission process to the listeners. This is their radio, lets give them the opportunity to pick the bands that they like.
