For some years now, the international press agrees: re-Vision are one of the most interesting and independent Metal-acts, whereas Metal is just the underlying basis of their sound, because re-Vision pour out their ’hard sound’ in a very own style. .. Rocking, heavy, groovy, catchy, they do their own thing and follow their own path consequently. .. The focussed songwriting especially sets value on catching hooklines and harmonies, as well as thrilling grooves and driving Power-riffs. Frontlady Anke Willnat coronates the re-Visionary compositions with her impressive, beautifully haunting vocal-lines, which directly aim into your emotional system. .. They never sounded this thrilling. Better than ever!!! Which is definitely proved with the new album CHAPTER IV: ALL FOR THE SAKE OF LOVE… .. Released worldwide via greek Sleaszy Rider Records at the 19th of December 2009! .. Recorded @ “Dead Soul Temple” in Vienna, produced by Devon Graves (Dead Soul Tribe, ex-Psychotic Waltz), mixed and mastered @ Gernhart Studio by Martin Buchwalter (Perzonal War, Squealer), re-Vision present 14 songs (incl. one cover-tune: Iron Maidens “Strange World”), among that 3 tracks with additional Lead-Vocals or Backing-Voices by Mister Graves himself, which will haunt and mesmerize you for sure. Goose-bumps guaranteed. .. ...... .. re-Vision got together in Spring 1993. In the same year, the band released their first demo tape, followed by another demo in summer 1996 and extensive live activities at home and abroad. One year later, their debut album re-Vision was recorded under their own direction and met with unanimously positive press reactions, arousing the interest of german B.Mind Records. Their second album Whore Venus was recorded between December 1999 and January 2000, labelled ... one of the hottest German newcomer acts! by Rock Hard-magazine. Metal Heart even featured re-Vision as the ... hottest contenders to this years newcomer throne. Besides a lot of club-shows the band played a European-Tour with Paul DiAnnos Killers. The 3rd album Longevity and the Maxi-CD Downfall, countless effusive reviews, a lot of CD Sampler-Track-placements (in Germany for example Rock Hard, Metal Hammer, Sonic Seducer, Gothic) and additional licence-deals for South-America or Eastern Europe finally established re-Vision in the scene. Moreover the band supported the likes of Oomph!, After Forever, Die Happy, Garden Of Delight, Haggard, Skyclad, Clawfinger and Dreadful Shadows in the last few years. With their promo-demos Deconstructed (2002), re-Constructed (2003) and For the sake of love (2004) the four-piece presented the new female singer Anke. The demo-tune Shapeless was immediately chosen for the Unerhört best unsigned acts!-compilation, released by german Rock Hard-magazine, and once again as the circle closes: there’s definitely a lot more to come…NOW! Let it storm now! .. PS: since 2005 re-Vision guys are working (on a permanent basis) as the backing-band of ex-Iron Maiden-singer Paul Di’Anno for his shows in Germany and some more countries abroad. After a lot of shows in Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Swiss and a blasting 10-days Russia-Tour in March 2006 the legendary vocal-performer doesn’t want to miss his re-Visionaries anymore. „These guys rock“, that’s what he says.
