Biography

Risen From Ashes are a fivepieced band from the city of Moenchengladbach, West Germany. Founded in 2007, the band constantly continued developing its own interpretation of modern Heavy Metal, mixing various elements of Thrash and Death Metal, and kept playing around 40 shows over the last years.

In june 2010 the band finally hit the studio to record its first EP which was self-released in september 2010. The result of this process is a brutal four-track bastard called "Defiance" and contains the bands latest songs "Fragile", "Bloody Revenge", "Dignify" and "Ashes of Authority".

Now after finishing the record the band keeps writing new songs and tries to hit the road again in 2011 and play as much shows as possible. Be sure you dont miss them.
