   Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s Blurbs
About me:

RFK Jr. in 2008: For All The Right Reasons.

ROBERT F. KENNEDY Jr., son of Robert F. Kennedy, the slain U.S. Senator, former U.S. Attorney General, and 1968 Democratic Presidential contender from New York State, RFK Jr., the nephew of the slain U.S. President John F. Kennedy of The State of Massachusetts, Bobby Jr., husband to his loving wife, Mary, and proud father to a total of 6 children: Robert III, Kathleen, Conor, Kyra, William, and Aidan, ROBERT FRANCIS KENNEDY Jr. serves as the Senior Attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council, the Chief Prosecuting Attorney for the Hudson Riverkeepers and as the President of the Waterkeeper Alliance. RFK Jr. also works as a Clinical Professor and Supervising Attorney at the Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic at Pace University School of Law in New York. Earlier in his career, he served as an Assistant District Attorney in New York City. RFK Jr. has worked on several political campaigns over the years and was the New York State Primary coordinator for his uncle Senator Ted Kennedy's 1980 challenge for the Democratic Presidential Nomination versus the incumbent President, Jimmy Carter. Mr. Kennedy has been a force for change on environmental issues across the globe and has assisted several indigenous tribes in Latin America and Canada in successfully negotiating treaties protecting their traditional homelands. ROBERT F. KENNEDY Jr. has been at the forefront of the battle to protect New York City's water supply. The New York City Watershed Agreement, which he negotiated on behalf of environmentalists and New York City watershed consumers, is regarded as an international model in stakeholder consensus negotiations and sustainable development. RFK Jr. has been a frequent guest on television's political talk show circuit and is a respected speaker at college lecture forums across the nation. He also currently hosts a weekly political radio show, "Ring of Fire", on Air America Radio. http://www.ringoffireradio.com/

Over the past decade or so, many people have asked ROBERT F. KENNEDY Jr. to run for political office as an advocate for the environment and for other issues as well. He has considered campaigning for the U.S. Senate seat which his father once held. He has considered running for Attorney General in The State of New York. He has seriously considered all of these options and others as well.

On December 17th 2006, http://www.myspace.com/rfk_jr_for_the_usa, was established as an organized effort to persuade ROBERT F. KENNEDY Jr. that THE TIME for him to seek political office IS unquestionably NOW. For a number of reasons, ranging from the mythic to the historic, we think that THE COUNTRY NEEDS RFK Jr. TO RUN for The Presidency in 2008 as The candidate of The Democratic Party or even as a Third Party Candidate under the banner of The Unity08 Party (www.Unity08.com). ROBERT F. KENNEDY Jr. is FULLY AWARE of the fact that this fledgling draft/petition movement exists. Please SHOW YOUR SUPPORT for the Draft RFK Jr. in 2008 Movement by leaving INSIGHTFUL COMMENTS requesting Mr. Kennedy to at least CONTEMPLATE tossing his hat into the political ring in 2008.

Who I'd like to meet:
President Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on January 20th, 2009, just after he gives his Inaugural Address and just before he and his family restore some dignity to The White House by taking up residence there.

We're taking an educated guess that RFK Jr. would like to meet the following people:

HE'D like to meet any and all concerned, responsible, and highly motivated CITIZENS and GROUPS OF CITIZENS who have as their top priority, the comprehensive restoration of America's perceived reputation abroad and at home, amongst our friends and our foes alike, and also, as a matter of course, all those who naturally seek fundamental improvements in the conditions right here in The United States of America, on all domestic fronts, for the sake of the common good and for the general welfare and security of our innately peace-loving, resourceful, and infinitely capable nation. That is to say, potentially, HE'D like to meet you, your friends, your co-workers, your neighbors, and your and their extended families. In other words, HE'D like to meet, and to better yet, know you and all other like-minded individuals of strong and potent substance, of good and profound conscience, of dynamic and resilient character, whose ambitious and unfearful goal it is, and always has been, for our great country to live up to, at long last, the collective promise of our cherished values and traditional ideals and, after having accomplished these noble objectives, to then proudly and ingeniously enact, the as of late, and up until now, tragically unrealized visions and reluctantly postponed dreams of an independent and diverse and determined people with a higher calling, and with a soul, as of yet, unborn.

DISCLAIMER NOTICE: This MYSPACE PROFILE is an attempt to DRAFT and/or PETITION and/or SOLICIT Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., a citizen of New York State and The U.S.A., to run for The Presidency in 2008. He has NOT announced his candidacy for The Presidency. RFK Jr. has HOWEVER, IN recent MONTHS, in TV interviews, stated that THE COUNTRY needs HIM to RUN for something. WE AGREE with him WHOLEHEARTEDLY. That is why the folks who maintain this profile, are staging a CONCERTED multi-front CAMPAIGN to CONVINCE HIM TO RUN for the office of The Presidency. THAT IS OBVIOUSLY WHY WE HAVE ESTABLISHED THIS PROFILE on myspace.com. And guess what? WE'D LOVE YOUR HELP !!! Any views or statements made on this page or in posted bulletins or in responses to YOU via myspace messages originate within the minds of the individuals who maintain this profile, and do not in any way, shape, or form, reflect the EXACT actual views or thoughts of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. We're not him nor do we claim to be him nor do we represent him. WE'RE A CANDIDATE DRAFT MOVEMENT. There have been other attempts like this, both large and small scale efforts, to convince reluctant political warriors to seek higher office throughout the annals of U.S. history. Read our blog for further details and resource links.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Thank you for connecting to me on my myspace page. I myself have respect for every United States President, as each of us have our faults, and is what makes all of us unique and human, each President is also no less human. To err is human, to forgive is divine. John F. Kennedy was my most favorite United States President and it was his words, and Robert's that gave me the courage to fight, and the hope I needed to persevere.

God Bless you and your family, Jose F. Medeiros

I shook your Dad's hand at T.R.W. in 1968 ( I ditched school to do it). Although this hand has shaken that of many celebrities and several statesmen through the years, it is always your Dad that I remember most. I think of him when I look at my old hand. I wonder "If only it could have been." If only.
Happy birthday to you, Robert. How proud he would have been of you.

Just wanted to stop by to wish all the group a very happy Christmas, a beautiful Solstice & a wonderful Chanukah! ...And of course, a great new '09.

It seems that Caroline is interested in the job. While I am sure she would be good, I still believe we need Robert F. Kennedy Jr., in that position, as he is the most dedicated activist and environmentalist, knows the issues and how to deliver their cause.

All the best,
xoxo Lana

hey yall:
i wanted to bring your attention to my new YouTube
channel.
After 18 months ranting as davis fleetwood, I needed to do
something that strikes a lighter note- and THE PUBLIC NEWS NETWORK is just that.

If you enjoy- I hope you subscribe, share & all of that good stuff....

For those used to the oh- so- serious DAVIS FLEETWOOD , this new
channel will be quite a change- but I will continue posting my - oh- so-serious davis fleetwood style videos, both on my channel and (details are still
being worked out) for other site(s) as well.

So- yes, I will still be posting on my davis fleetwood
channel- in fact I have plans to expand it by inviting other video
creators to post there as well (more details on that soon) - but these
short, silly little videos are something that I can punch out quickly.
I
hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy creating them.

The next time that you are at the store...

Be Prepared When Asked...

Paper?

Or Plastic?

Why not bring your own bags?

Most Grocery Stores Sell ReUsable Bags Now.

Try purchasing one at each of your next few visits, and you could have enough for every visit in no time. They are fairly inexpensive, and make a huge difference when it comes to their impact on the environment.

Remember...

An Informed Decision is ALWAYS the Best Decision...

And being Prepared Will ALWAYS make your day a little EASIER...

Thanks for your work to help curb the effects of Global Warming...

Every Consciencious Decision Will Make The Difference.
