Bruises Of Unknown Origin is the latest evolution of the BITCH/AJAX axis. Whereas once there was Pie, then Richard Bitch, from another direction came The Rev and then Hut Dwellers. Then the Mountain Man emerged from clouds of smoke, wherein he dwelt with Philistine Tent Revival (who later became Comets On Fire, then Howlin Rain). This is name-dropping at its best! Anyway, this is the most democratic and wide-ranging band we three have ever been in. John, Dave & Colin all write songs and take turns on guitar. The only bad thing is when John plays drums, so that doesn't happen much. Some contants you can count on: bitchin guitar playing, psych & trippy sounds, chest-throttling bass, daredevil drums and catchy songs.
