Influences	My influences come from all angles. I could waffle on for hours but in short they range from George Duke through to George Benson.....Miles Davis to Pat Metheny..... even chuck in a little Jack Johnson and Keane for good measure...... and not forgetting so many more recent music writer/producers who help inspire us to create........ And also things that happen in life in general..... good and bad ....all of these things help to mould our creative outbursts.
Sounds Like	Well one would hope that the musics sounds like me.... but then when you draw in so much inspiration from music there's bound to be some similarities to artists/producers past and present, but i think it's fair to say that everyone has their own isms in music...... what mine are is mystery to me!

About Richard Earnshaw

Hi there!!!! In a nutshell, i'm 34 going on 12.... and i love making music. I've been tinkling on the ivories now for nearly 27 years......10 of them as a classical pianist and the rest..... all things jazz, funk and soul. I have a degree in music from the University of London, where i met Mark Horwood, my good friend and co-writer with our first "serious" musical venture, Fusion Groove Orchestra. Since 1998, things have been pretty hectic..... 2002 saw "People Are People" signed to Soulfuric.....which started off a new level in my musical aspirations. One or two productions and remixes later and 2003 brought in the start of Duffnote, One51 and more recently Guess...... all handsomely put together alongside Danny Jones.... co-writer, business partner and all round good chum!! I'm also involved in a few other projects, Spiritchaser (with Mark "Bamo" Bamford), The Little Big Band (with Simon Green & Matt Gray), One51 (with Danny Jones) and Sole Unity (just me, but a little deeper in style). I DJ a bit too...... I hope you like what you've heard and with any luck what you'll hear over the coming years..... remember.... we don't stop playing coz we grow old... we grow old coz we stop playing!!

Moirai	Sep 4 2009 7:15 PM Just wanted to let you know that my band is now complete and called Moirai (meaning the gods of fate or the fates) things are going great and we are working on our 1st album and play list. We should be doing our 1st offcial gig very soon and will let you know details nearer the time.
