...... Rick Plester is a producer and guitarist. He has been involved in 105 records to date, including The Scorpions/ James Kottak , Michael Schenker, George Lynch, and many others. Rick plays guitar in and is the founding member of International recording artist Black Symphony. Black Symphony's 4th release is now available on Itunes ect... The band consists of Plester,basist Rev Jones, (Fuel, MSG, and Paul Gilbert) drummer Pete Holmes, (Ted Nugent, Ian Gillian, Yngwie Malmsteen, and MSG), keyboardist Robert Vasicek (Prague Symphony), they are joined by new found talent, Randy Reeman on lead Vocals and keybords.
Ricks great chops and inspirational vision in song writing help him create his own unique style of rock music; some magazine writers have called him a true genius. Rick also won the LA Guitars Wars and several Canadian guitar wars contests.
Rick has almost finished his debut instrumental record, recording will be finished in mid June. Rick will tour both Black Symphony and his instrumental projests in the spring / summer. Rick will also host a weekly blog on the Randall amps site starting very soon. Video plans are also in the works for both projects.
Before Ricks music career he was a Pro Hockey player (goalie) for several years both in Ice Hockey and Roller Hockey. Both careers started overlapping so he picked music.
Rick has also written music for ABC, NBC, ESPN, FOX, FOR SPORTS.
