Soul/RnB/Pop singer, songwriter and artist, was born in San Francisco California November 26, 1980. Mostly raised in Seattle Washington, he landed his first music industry job as a booking agent at Hendrix Records.
September 11th 2008 Rigael Damar appeared on Swedens National radio program P3 lab. Radio host Pelle Moeld compared Rigael Damar to the likes of D’angelo, John Legend, Maxwell, and Mos Def. And in the month of oktober 2008 he was named artist of the month and his song *Highway* was placed on rotation on several of the programs on Sweden’s national radio channel P3.

Rigael Damar has a long history of song and entertainment. Performing in various settings through out childhood from the local corner churches to entertaining thousands at SafeCo Field, home to the Seattle Mariners. At the age of 22 Rigael is founder of the River City Spoken Word Cafe in Chicago Illinois, Music Director and band leader of 'River City Community Church' performing weekly at Congress Theater - one of the largest auditoriums in Chicago.
After writing and recording material that would be later introduced to ''The Band'' in Stcokholm Sweden the fall of 2007, Rigael Damar and ''The Band'' are a constellation of some of Swedens most exciting and promising musicians and have played with swedens most exciting up and comers.
