A staple in the Michigan rock music scene since 2004, Right Stripped has released two full-length albums--“A Doubtful Life’s Anthology” in 2006 and “Plaguing Words” in 2005. “A Doubtful Life’s Anthology” recieved good reviews from both Recoil and Revue magazines. The band has also been featured in Revue magazine’s “Homegrown Talent” section. Right Stripped originated in Muskegon, Michigan, but has played all over West, Central, and East Michigan, and in Illinois.
After a year-long hiatus in 2008, the band is currently working on their third studio album, to be released in late 2009. Right Stripped has taken part in many music events, such as the WKLQ Heavyweights (2006, 2007), the Bodog Battle of the Bands (2007), the Muskegon Summer Celebration (2006, 2007), and West Michigan Music’s World Series of Rock (2005).
In addition to functioning as an original Rock and Metal act, Right Stripped also functions as a professional cover band. The band plays mostly modern Rock covers, but also Rock music from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. Right Stripped is currently looking to book original music gigs as well as cover gigs. The band has nearly four hours worth of cover material ready to perform.

H. Jackson Brown: Good character is more to be praised than outstanding talent. Most talents are, to some extent, a gift. Good character, by contrast, is not given to us. We have to build it, piece by piece -- by thought, choice, courage, and determination.
