Amsterdam born Rishi Bass started dj-íng in 1990 in a local club in Almere spinning hiphop and r&B.. In 1996 he became resident at the very popular New Dance Radio. In that same year he secured a Sunday residency at the legendary Amsterdam RoXY. Soon he became a household name in the Dutch UK/US garage scene. In 1998 he was voted ..3 best Garage DJ.
1999 saw the release of first 12, Defect e.p on Astral Records imprint Funkatwist, meanwhile Rishi was gigging all over Holland.

His musicstyle is freestyle house with a touch of latin,electric and soul. He will suprise the crowd with original rishibass remixes and own productions.
