Nine years ago, Ryan Michael Lewis discovered an acoustic guitar in the attic of his home York, Pennsylvania. His mother had purchased it from a department store when she was young and took a few lessons. The half-size guitar was warped, and it's strings hadn't been changed in thirty years. But with his discovery of this instrument came his discovery of music.
Fast-forward to the present. Ryan has played in countless bands, constantly searching for the path of least resistance to play music for others. That toy guitar he once played for hours on end is now a distant memory. He leads worship at Community Cornerstone Church, and has written and produced two albums. Playing music has become his art, his language, and his passion.
I was at the gig the other night when you played with the Dukes (AKA 180 Out). They're from my church and I'm pretty close with their kids.
Anyway, I think you're local, right? I don't know how often you guys play but every Friday night our college kids have this "hang out" called Kairos from 9pm-midnight. You guys should come some time :)
I love your music man! We have to play together again soon. I also wanted to know if you would like to bless my cd with your anointed guitar skills, Dance with Me. It is all about worshiping and dancing around the throne of God. Let me know dude.

Woah weird! I got sick too! I'm so sorry you couldn't perform! I got to play at Dan McGuinness in Franklin-- it was a good intro show for Nashville very low key. And yes my Nashville trip was education as well. What kinda stuff did you learn? I actually got sick at the Pancake Pantry- we think it was Salmonallae- my Mom and I- ewww.
thanks for coming out to the show & for your kind words! we've got a full band LIVE RECORDING at the capitol theater in downtown york on 4/18...would be great to have you there for it! www. markderosemusic. com
your giant center performace sounds fun....a small group from my chorus sang the national anthem before a game a few weeks ago on the ice. it was so much fun!! that's awesome that you get to do that!
Definately...it's been nice to sleep in and chill around the house. Ethan just got a wii so we've been playing that all day. =) It's quite entertaining.
