Robitronic, known for their superb electronics, now has a complete line of products for radio control cars.
The cars range from 1/8 nitro to 1/18 electric. The 1/8 scale Protos (buggy), Mantis (truggy), and BR50 (trophy truck) are all Ready-To-Run and require just fuel and batteries. Some of the factory components have been combined with Axial Racing products to give it an upper hand. The 1/10 touring car and 1/18 pan car kits require building. The Avid and Scalpel were designed and manufactured for race enthusiasts. All the cars have been extensively researched and developed to withstand more than your average wear and tear. There are also plenty of factory optional hop-ups available and all of the spare parts are consistently in stock.
Robitronic lithium polymer batteries, chargers, speed controls, and lap counter are engineered in-house and designed to spec with the latest technology. The afforable lap counting system can be used on-road and off-road from dirt to carpet. Typical systems will run you in the thousands, but you can pick it up for under $400.00. Not only do hobby stores use it, but people have been buying it for their backyard track.
Still new in the U.S. market, you will slowly see more Robitronic products in the states. We believe that quality should never be sacrificed with competitive pricing.

Do you love the realistic and detailed look of the trophy truck but don't want to pay $700 for it? Above are pictures of the Robitronic BR50 with the Associated SC8 wheels and body. The wheels fit perfectly, but the body needs slight trimming on the bottom of the fender. For about $400 you can purchase the BR50. Then all you need to do is purchase the wheels and body. Now you got yourself a scale trophy truck as seen on CORR and SCORE. This is a simple way of getting yourself a scale off-road truck.

Ron from Duneland Hobbies in Portage, Indiana converted his BR50 trophy truck into a 1/8 GT car. With just a few simple modifications it became an on-road winner. Ron would have came in 1st place at the 2008 Great Lakes Challenge, but his servo horn broke causing him to drop-out during the last minute. He ended up placing 3rd in the A-Main. Congrats Ron!
