THINGS (edible, lovable and impressionable):
Boys, werewolves, parties, cheeseburgers, rollerskates, hot dogs, pizza parties, pillow fights, chili-offs, tour vans that break down, weird people, funny people, gas stations, Mcdonalds, Steak and Shake, people who give us presents, puppies, glow sticks, nice girls, mean boys, Tex Mex, Rickenbackers, striped socks, monkeys and understanding the meaning of the word: Flamous.
Mixing 60's girl group innocence with 70's decibel-damaging boulevard beat and 80's glam wham swagger, Rocket can only be described as a volatile combination that brings to mind The Shangri-Las crashing the stage during an early Motley Crue gig.
The girls have driven coast to coast with the intentions of introducing the world to Rocket. Their first ever tour was the Van's Warped Tour. Warped was soon followed by direct support for the SuicideGirls, Butch Walker, the Horrorpops and The Pink Spiders. Rocket has also opened for the likes of Rancid, Sugarcult, OK GO, Morningwood, The Sounds, Unwritten Law, Alkaline Trio, The Supersuckers and The Dwarves.
"The five ladies of Los Angeles' Rocket mash punk rock's forward motion, girl-group lyrical delivery, and arena-filling power-pop into a slick package of chunky hooks, sing-alongs, and catchy guitar riffs." – William Goodman (Spin Magazine)
Just wanted to wish you a Happy & SAFE 4th of July. Here's some helpful or funny advice.
