Scotty Don’t played their first show ever, in a little town called called Bedford in the freezing cold state of New Hampshire. It just happened that the show was right next door to a strip club but that was surely just a coincidence. It has been a long but short year, with many many cd’s distributed, and many highways driven. We have met so many great people along our travels, and that is surely the reason why we do this. Even though we occasionally enjoy getting shit thrown at us on stage, we usually just enjoy people singing along with us and overall having a great fucking time. Anyways, today we celebrate our first anniversary and the american road that we shall soon see.
Scotty Don’t is a idea conceived by the veteran rockers of a group widely known as Badfish: a Tribute to Sublime.
More than a band, Scotty Don’t is a musical concept derived from years of touring and stewing creativity that has finally been wrangled into one place. As a group loaded with road-tested form and skill, they are whole-heartedly ready to launch the next generation of music fueled by blood, soul, and an intensity that is truly, in all senses of the word, original.
Scotty Don’t is a no-frills, take it or leave it musical concept being put out for those who are ready, willing, and able to open their ears.
I've been listening to your stuff on myspace, and I definately need to get my copy this year of your CD when you stop off to ROCK Nelson Ledges in September. Looking forward to another great show with Scotty Don't and Badfish........Hearing "and with it rain" last fall when you guys came back from your break was a period of complete bliss that night standing on the sand. It made me appreciate knowing that "these trouble that I got don't last so long, as long as Badfish and Scotty Don't outside keeps playing that song. "
