Behind Rone there is Erwan Castex, young parisian dj and producer.
Working originally as a filmmaker, he composes his first music creations between two shoots. His works, going from experimental techno to melodic ambient, soon grab the attention of the the most receptive ears: Massive Attack, Ellen Allien, Laurent Garnier, Lawrence, James Holden, and furthermore Agoria, who brings him to light in the cult compilation "At the controls". The compositions draw the interest of Parisian label InFiné (Apparat, Danton Eeprom...), that offers Rone a new chance of expression with the long awaited release of the maxi "Bora".
Since then, Rone has been tracklisted in the last Steve lawler and Sasha's album (with Thom Yorke, Matthew Dear and Telefon Tel Aviv). His own first album, "Spanish Breakfast" is released in mars 2009 (InFiné music).

D'abord réalisateur de vidéos, il compose ses premiers morceaux entre deux tournages. Ses productions, qui oscillent entre techno expérimentale et ambient mélodique, attirent très vite l'attention des oreilles les plus aiguisées: Massive Attack, Ellen Allien, Laurent Garnier, Lawrence, James holden ou encore Agoria qui le révèle dans la compilation culte "At the controls", avant de le signer sur son label InFiné (où il rejoint Danton Eeprom, Apparat, ou encore The Hacker...) avec la sortie d'un premier maxi solo: "Bora".
Depuis, on retrouve ses morceaux sur des albums de Steve Lawler ou encore de Sacha (aux côtés de Thom Yorke, Matthew Dear, Telefon Tel Aviv). Son premier album, "Spanish Breakfast", sort en mars 2009 (InFiné music).
