Mr Manuva comes blazing back into action with the wonderful “Buff Nuff,” a slice of Sheffield dancehall cooked up by the so-hot-it-hurts Toddla T, mixed by the mighty Ross Orton (M.I.A. etc) and weighed down with lyrical wonderment and silly genius by the one and only Rodney Smith.
Propulsive, compulsive, half sexy and half really funny, “Buff Nuff” consists of Mr Manuva begging a girl for it, offering incentives including a ride on his pushbike, and packing in the treble entendres like prophylactics in an 18-30s tour rep’s suitcase.
Already declared the Hottest Record in the World by Zane Lowe on Radio One, “Buff Nuff” is the first single taken from the forthcoming album, “Slime & Reason” (August 25th), which finds Roots Manuva on the kind of freewheeling, reggae-drenchd form which made “Run Come Save Me” an all-time classic.

Adviruz is the artist psedonym of Istanbul’s Pinar Gurcan, whose growing passion for sound is translated through her music. All of which are evident on "Nightly Sounds", an 8 track album which is the equivilent of having a glimpse into a diary, learning of love lost, gained, a snapshot of the human condition from which we can all draw experience... All of these things are developed musically into minimalistic glitch, noise, idm, experimental music and microsounds, its influences reminiscent of work by artists like Tujiko Noriko, Mira Calix, Plaid and Björk.
