I ROT...just five guys. Quiet, unassuming. They never bothered the neighbors. Pretty much just kept to themselves. It started out as three. Three guys in a garage. Strange by itself, but there were incredibly odd and loud noises coming from within. Then, the screaming started. The screaming that would never end. The neighbors, they didn't understand. It was unnerving, but they didn't say anything. After all, these were kind, gentle boys, who always had time to say "hi!", as they got out of their trucks and lumbered into the garage. And there was a fourth now.... Like clockwork, on certain days, these 4 boys showed up, usually with some 5th, even 6th person/s and they'd go inside. The noise and screaming would start up again, then they'd come out....covered in sweat and high fiving eachother.....but only 4. Well, ok, sometimes 5 or 6...... K, this is dumb. This Project is called I ROT. Five guys who like to play in your face, "FUCK YOU" metal. The sound is thrash/punk with some Death Metal vocals to round out the hate. Most of the songs we sing about are based on actual events, actual people. Nothing like the truth to scare the shit out of you. Original members, Tom, Aubrey and Brady started orignally as Breakneck in 2003. With no vocalist, they played around here and there. They decided to audition for a singer, went through a few and then found this jerkoff named BJ. The 4 of them finished out the songs and began playing again. A 2nd guitarist was needed, so we started auditioning for that. BJ had this friend Zach who was also a jerkoff, but they brought him in anyways, and fortunately, he worked out perfectly. Things went on. Tom and Breakneck parted ways and brought in this fucking jerkoff named Chad. Fucking Chad.....he plays bass. what? there's nothing else to say. He's a fucking jerkoff. Write a book. The band decided that it was time to change the name. We went through so many, none of which I'll name here, YOU FUCKING THIEVES!!! They're good too......and we all landed on "I ROT". Since our music was about all that was already truth, we wanted a name that would reflect that as well. Shortly thereafter, I ROT and Brady parted ways. So Aubrey was stuck with 3 jerkoffs. Chad, BJ and Zach. Poor Aubrey. That's when they decided to kill him and stuff him in the fridge..... I mean, that's when we decided to record our first demo entitled, "KILL EVERYTHING" in March of 2007. Glad you enjoyed it, it's no longer available. Shortly after that, I ROT recorded their self-titled 5 song EP and set new bars for whatever the fuck it is they do. And those who listened became infected, became the ROTTEN. You know. You're one of em. In 2008, I ROT was driving down a lonely highway, when their headlights happened upon a figure, crouched in the middle of the road, holding something very bloody. It turned out to be a guitar and the gibbering ghoul they had found in the road could fucking play it. They called him Jeramee, and thus I ROT rounded out their killing elite to a 5 man slaughterhouse. With that said, and as The most prolific and heinous serial METAL players, I ROT will FUCKING KILL YOU. Screams from the Shed.......
