ROTOR was founded in Los Angeles,Ca. and rapidly gained popularity on the Hollywood Club Scene at such legendary spots as the "The Viper Room","The Whiskey A Go-Go","The Roxy","The Troubadour","The Knitting Factory",etc. In the fall of 2008 ROTOR was chosen among hundreds of bands by the Bloomingdale's Corporation as the "Hot Band of the Fall" and was the first rock band ever invited to play a mini tour inside Bloomingdale's Department Stores in So. Ca. In 2009 ROTOR was invited to play at the trendy clothing store chain "Hot Topic". ROTOR has been played on radio stations like the legendary powerhouse "KROQ 106.7 FM", KLSX 97.1 on the "Heidi, Frosty & Frank Show" & is currently Featured Artist on many Internet Radio stations; with more added weekly. Recently relocating to Sweden & already climbing the Reverbnation Rock Chart's. KELLY MARLOW - Animated Lead Singerr and co- founder of ROTOR was born in St. Monica and raised in Hollywood, California.He started singing along with the Beatles into a hairbrush, while playing "guitar" with a tennis racket in front of the mirror when he was 4. He formed his first band in junior high and has never been without one since. This singer/songwriter/performer/producer had his songs placed in video games, extreme sport videos, radio airplay including fm, internet, & a #1 hit on college stations. Former bands include- Rotor, F8, Souls On Fire, Alley Brats, Sweet Revenge, Bad Karma, & P.W.R.(Peace Will Reign) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KARIN HALLEN -Smoking Hot Bass Player & co-founder of ROTOR was born and raised on a farm in Southern Sweden. In addition to playing the bass in ROTOR she is also a screenwriter, actor and director. In 2008 she added model to the list when she came in 1st runner up on the American hit TV Show "She's Got the Look"; TV Lands nationwide Super Model search.
